
Individuals
are provided support and training to learn a varied combination
of skills, which are classified under different categories. The
combination of skills is specific to an individual. The ‘Individualized
Program’ is prepared in collaboration with the parents. It
incorporates the student’s interests and abilities and the
family’s concerns and requirements. It endeavours to maintain
existing functional skills while providing training to develop newer
ones.

The
set-up is designed to alleviate or moderate the limitations of the
disability and the resultant ineffective learning situations. Emphasis
is laid on providing structure and organization in the learning
environment on the individual’s level of understanding. Visual
aids in the form of picture cards, social stories and different
types of schedules are used to assist in learning.


The center is located away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The rustic and serene atmosphere, with plenty of open space and
trees, goes a long way in helping all individuals remain calm and
peaceful.
