Home Help Services

Sunlove Home Help Service was established in 1997. Home Help Service is an excellent and cost effective alternative to hospital or institutional care. It is hoped that through this service, the dignity and independence of homebound elderly can be maintained.

Our team of Home Care workers can provide the necessary support and assistance that may be needed. All our care workers have been carefully selected to ensure that clients are provided with the highest standards in a friendly and efficient manner.

Eligibility Criteria

Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
55 years and above
Frail and homebound
Living with an elderly who cannot provide adequate care

Available Services

		Meals Delivery Well-prepared and nutritionally balanced meals will be delivered for lunch and/or dinner, including weekends and public holidays. Halal food is also available.
		Home Maintenance For the elderly who are unable to maintain cleanliness in their homes, basic maintenance can be done once a week. This is to help maintain a conducive environment of living for the elderly.
		Personal Hygiene Frail and homebound elderly will be assisted in bathing once or twice a week.
		Escort Service Ambulance service will be provided to and fro for the elderly who have follow-up medical appointments at hospitals and/or clinics. This service is available for non-emergency cases only.
		Laundry Service Clothes will be collected, washed and returned. This service is provided to ensure that the elderly enjoy a reasonable standard of hygiene.

Fees

Charges for each service will be based on household income. A nominal fee will be charged for Public Assistance cases.

Application Procedures

Referrals can be made by hospital, polyclinic, Family Service Centre Social Workers and Case Workers. Applicants/caregivers can also request for Home Help and other services directly.
